Fortunately was able to get PlumKuchen, which is seasonable, only when Italian plums are available. Delicious- got 3, 2 to freeze for later (were in heavy plastic bags) so ready to freeze. Also love the rye bread, roladen-wonderful beef/gravy. What a great spot for international food in northwest Atlanta. Bernhard has been going for years, and hope it continues for many more.

I saw this bakery featured on a Facebook page recently, and stopped by today on my way to get my hair cut. Very nice place with so many mouth-watering choices! The young lady who helped me was so pleasant. I got some apple strudel and it was so good! Light and flavorful without being overly sweet. You can really taste the 🍎 apples. Just what I wanted. I hope to try more of their delicious goodies soon.

Wow everything I've gotten here is good, the bread they use for sandwiches is Perfecto esp the rye! Not generic industrial bread they serve everywhere else. The lunch sandwiches(diner kebab, mufaletta, schnitzel), desserts, are all freshly made and taste great. The price range I would say is acceptable. Surprised that located in this inconspicuous place, is such a high quality and traditional mom n pop bakery. Helpful staff. Downside is with so many choices, one must exercise control 😄

Got about 10 pastries from the two areas, a bread stick and a doner kebab. I would only go back for the doner kebab, the bread used was very delicious but the ingredients inside were just okay. Very small place, I would recommend going on a day that’s not going to be busy.

My friend had been recommending this spot for over a year. I was finally able to make it in to buy some sourdough. It was crisp and mouthwatering. I will be going back for more.
